About the Dragon: It's a Dragon State of Mind! About the Artist:

I have been known as a Jack of all trades or a Jane we could say. However, my name is Jusjan as my stationary would say. I am Jan Hoffman, I have lived in DeForest, WI for over 40 years.

In my professional life I worked in Human Resources among other jobs as I wound myself down into retirement. Taking care of family and volunteering were first on the retirement list.

Painting with my mother as a child and studying art at Milligan College Tennessee gave me my love for art. My art was once described as “old fashion joy”. I believe that comes from the love of my family life. Through the eyes of some, they see whimsical with touches of abstract and realism combined. Much of my happiness shines through.

Special requests for sun, sea, sky and sand landscapes are my favorite paintings, flowers are a close second! I have also painted murals and camouflage on small buildings.
