The Village of DeForest, in collaboration with University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension Dane County, is excited to announce a Housing Strategy Workshop aimed at addressing our community’s current and future housing needs. This workshop will provide a platform for residents, local leaders, and housing experts to come together and discuss innovative solutions for creating affordable, sustainable, and inclusive housing options. Join us for an engaging session where your input will help shape the housing landscape of DeForest, ensuring a vibrant and thriving community for all. A free pizza dinner will be provided from Branch + Daughter!

Housing Workshop Results
On Thursday, September 26th at the Housing Strategies Workshop, DeForest residents together to discuss the future of housing in our community. After brief presentations, attendees participated in interactive breakout sessions where they shared their ideas and identified key priorities by placing green stickers on housing strategies that resonated most with them. This collaborative approach allowed everyone to voice their opinions and help shape the vision for DeForest’s housing options.
