The Village of DeForest is pleased to introduce the 2025 municipal budget process, a cornerstone of our commitment to transparency and community engagement. This year's budget process is designed to ensure that residents have ample opportunities to participate and provide input, reinforcing our dedication to accountability and open governance. Our focus remains on delivering top-notch services that meet the evolving needs of our community, all while adhering to the strategic plan that guides our long-term vision and priorities. By maintaining these principles, we aim to foster a collaborative environment where resident's voices are heard, and our collective resources are managed responsibly and effectively.

On July 16, the Village of DeForest initiated its budget planning process with a kickoff presentation to the Village Board. This presentation was also featured in two Community Listening Sessions held on July 11 and July 18, 2024.
